Vodafone would offer C&W 700 million pounds

Vodafone has announced on Monday, February 13, that it would offer a bid to Bracknell-based Cable & Wireless Worldwide (CWW), by March 12.

According to experts, this offer would improve the network quality in UK and will also support the company's business in the world.

"Vodafone regularly reviews opportunities in the sector and confirms that it is in the very early stages of evaluating the merits of a potential offer for CWW," the company said in a statement. "There is no certainty that an offer will be made nor as to the terms on which any offer might be made. Any offer, if made, will be in cash but Vodafone reserves the right to change the specie of consideration."

The analysts have reported that the company would offer 700 million pounds to Cable &Wireless (C&W).
