VMware virtual server environment will work better

Dot Hill has integrated VMware vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) support and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) into its firmware for AssuredSAN 3000 storage systems.

Dot Hill Systems Corp. is a leading provider of SAN storage solutions. SAN refers to Storage area networks. According to the corporation, SRM is used for better protection of data and recovery of the information in disasters in different geographic sites.

"Customers using VMware virtualization require high performance and high availability network storage solutions. Dot Hill's AssuredSAN 3000 series provides a unique combination of high speed and five 9's of availability," said Jim Jonez, senior director of marketing, Dot Hill.
