Interesting facts about Milk

Life Hack:

You can keep the milk fresher for longer time by adding a pinch of salt to each quart.

Production:

Most cows give more milk while listening to music.

A cow gives about 90 glasses of milk per day.

In the state of Utah, it is illegal to not drink milk.

Medical:

Milk is better than water to cool your mouth after eating spicy food as it has a protein, casein that cleanses burning taste buds.
Milk has moisturizing fats that may help in decreasing redness from sunburn or to decrease some of the dryness and itching caused by skin conditions such as xerosis or eczema.
Natural yellow color of butter is due to beta-carotene found in the grass the cows graze on.
An 8-ounce glass of milk gives the same amount of calcium as one-fourth cup of broccoli, seven oranges or six slices of wheat bread.
Lactose, the form of sugar found in milk, is often difficult to deal with by the stomach.
Milk is helpful in reducing acidity level in mouth and fights with plaque formation.
Many people are allergic to milk, so the alternative is soy milk.
