Twitter searching for director; May be a former Google executive

Twitter is searching for a director to support its business matters and among the candidates is a former Google Inc. executive as reported by Reuters.
Finding is in its early stages but some names include:

• Mariam Naficy, chief executive officer of paper goods company Minted.com or 
• Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, chief executive officer at fashion retail site Joyus and the former president of Google's Asia-Pacific
