Pocket Spacecraft for your own personalized exploration of space

Now you can explore the solar system with a personalized spacecraft as helped by a new Kickstarter project.

In this project, dubbed Pocket Spacecraft project, you will contribute to the project helping the creators to send your spacecraft to the moon.

The solar-powered pocket Spacecrafts, also known as scouts, are tiny, thin discs smaller than an average CD that can be personalized by adding images and customizing the message it transmits. The project will help the users to look at every step of the tiny personalized spacecraft’s journey from development in the lab to be placed onto the Interplanetary CubeSat Mothership. Progress can be tracked online and via a smartphone app.

Some of the spacecrafts will come back to Earth while remaining will go to moon.

More than 100 backers have pledged for more than £13,962 in five days while 53 days are left for the complete pledge of £290,000.
