WiFi on the go while in Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines, subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc., has launched internet connectivity through WiFi in its Enabler 190 fleet. This service will allow the passengers to remain connect to the internet while in travelling.


This service will be free for 30 minutes in the month of February.


Gogo, inflight connectivity provider, will manage the onboard WiFi service in the flight.



“Gogo is extremely excited about the opportunity to help the numerous travelers who fly Frontier’s Embraer fleet stay connected and entertained in flight through Gogo,” said Ash ElDifrawi, Gogo’s chief marketing officer. “As the number of Wi-Fi-enabled mobile devices continues to grow, those passengers who have come to expect connectivity will be able to connect on Frontier.”

Pricing for laptop service is $4.95 on flights up to 650 miles long, $9.95 for flights from 651 to 1,150 miles long, and $12.95 for flights 1,151 miles and longer. Pricing for mobile devices is $4.95 for flights up to 650 miles and $7.95 for flights 651 miles and longer. Additionally, there is an option to purchase access for 15 minutes for $1.95 on flights up to 650 miles long.
