In this strategy, one obvious option is ARM Holdings PLC, low-power microprocessor technology, which is popular in cellphones and tablets market for chips making. This has been reported by Rory Read at a meeting with analysts and experts. He also said that the company is going to develop modular chips allowing the blocks of circuitry by ARM and other companies to be incorporated.
AMD has plans to merge ultrathin technology with focus on Cloud based computing and low power consumption. To achieve this AMD has many companies to work with.
