More than 500,000 apps of Android are there in market

According to a report published by research2guidance, there are more than 500,000 apps of Android in the market upto the end of September.
Now Androin market is not far from the Apple's app counting which exceeds 600,000 apps recently.
Research2guidance also found that the number of app developers for Android is more than Apple apps i.e. in the ratio of 3:2.

More interestingly, many Android apps are removed from the Android apps store than the apps removed by iTunes store i.e. 37% of apps were removed from the store due to different reasons where as 27% were removed from the iTunes app store in September.
