Breast Cancer Walk

Breast Cancer walk was arranged Saturday morning on El Paseo in Palm Desert. It was 5th annual Paint El Paseo Pink breast cancer walk.
Paint El Paseo Pink raises funds for the cancer for Suzanne Jackson Breast Cancer Fund. It belongs to Desert Cancer Foundation and is named on the name of the late LPGA tournament director, Suzanne Jackson, who was a victim of breast cancer.
Estimates show that more than 40 thousand woman may die of breast cancer in United States this year. The situation is worsened by the finding that 1/8 women would be diagnosed with breast cancer.
Approximately, 1000 people walked in an effort to fight against cancer. All were in pink color clothes. Among the people Becky Grossi, was the one who had breast cancer for more than a decade.
