China is going to introduce the world's tallest building, i.e. Shanghai tower in 2014, and Mitsubishi is going to introduce the world's fastest elevator in that building.
That elevator will have the capacity to move at the speed of 40.2 mph and will left the speed of the elevator in Burj Khalifa that moves with the speed of 26 mph.
Elevator has built-in converters in its motors that can regenerate electricity causing 30% reduction in consumption.
