Samsung will develop LCD business separately

Samsung Electronics has announced the plannings to separate the LCD business and the expectations of its merger with Samsung Mobile display unit are speculating.

Samsung Electronics Co., has planned to separate Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) businesses and operations in order to enhance competitiveness and to focus better on more profitable areas of the company i.e. non-memory chips, smartphones and next-generation panels.
