Mind reading but not through magic; Research

Researchers have successfully devised a new way to decode the hidden words of the brain by attaching electrical rods on the brain of the participants.

This research has been published online in the journal of PLoS Biology.

According to researchers, this research could help the patients of paralysis or stroke to do conversations.

Prof Robert Knight, one of the researchers from the University of California at Berkeley, said: "This is huge for patients who have damage to their speech mechanisms because of a stroke or Lou Gehrig's disease and can't speak.

"If you could eventually reconstruct imagined conversations from brain activity, thousands of people could benefit."
